Kimberly Antoinette Burgess-Taylor

Those of you who have already read my information from the book covers know the basic information I have given. I openly offer this information as insight to who I am.

I applaud my parents for planting the seed that has flourished into the woman who I am today. I thank them for being willing vessels of the lord.

I was blessed to attend high school in Wiesbaden, Germany (General H. H. Arnold High School...Warriors Rule!) where I studied intensely, played sports, and learned discipline in Junior ROTC. Growing up in Europe.  I frequently traveled and marveled at the beauty of the similarities and differences of all people. After high school, I attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas majoring in English with a minor in Sociology. While in college, I studied diligently and joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The only sorority constitutionally bound to a fraternity-Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.   Within my sorority I held several positions, the most prominent being that of the chapter president. In addition, I was a member of the Greek honor society-Order of Omega.

I graduated from Texas State University (SWT back then) in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. After being out of school for eight years, I decided to attend graduate school and in 2004, I received my Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

The Lord planted the seed of variety within me, so I have been unafraid to explore unfamiliar area of work. I have worked in the gas detection industry as the Team Leader over the Western Division of an Inside Sales department; receiving extensive technical, confined space, hazardous materials, and sales training. I also worked in the  financial industry as a Investment Specialist.   Most recently, I have worked within the Quality Assurance department in the automotive industry. Currently, I work as a Quality Assurance Supervisor for an organization within the health and human services industry and I am an adjunct instructor with the University of Phoenix .

I am a devoted mother and wife who puts God and family first, because family is essential and God is everything.  Everything that I do and ask of God is done with them in mind. I hope you are blessed by my determination, love, and utter transparency through faith. Blessings!
