Future Projects

I have been writing since I was a small child. When I began reading, that is where my love for writing began. However, I specifically wrote non-fiction short stories. I love taking words and manipulating them and creating new stories.

It was this love of "wordsmithing" that led me to major in English when I was an undergraduate in college. I feel that it is a combination of my love of words and my formal training that makes my writings so special.

For years I have been writing and continue to simultaneously write poetry some of them are called

In my third novel, Time after Time: Tales of Temporal Dichotomy, you'll receive a double delight- two stories under the same cover.   Science Fiction and Horror.

In Homeland, you'll meet Mica and Kix, soldiers with the Coalition of Planets, and experience space battles, hand-to-hand combat, collapsing wormholes, the destruction of planets, and starships being demolished by energy channeled through the mind and body.  It takes more than physical strength and talent to defeat their homegrown enemies, but Mica and Kix carry lethal weapons and stay armed with the latest technology and training; including telekinesis, genetic channeling, and divination.

Finishing out the book is, The Rebirth, my personal homage to the king of horror, Stephen King; which I wrote when I was a fledgling writer in high school. Each word is preserved and slightly unedited to show the workings of a young, creative mind. Get a copy and get submerged in multiple genres filled with action and suspense!

In October 2007, God blessed me to found the Manor Literacy and Cultural Initiative (MLCI) and we put on the First Annual Manor Cultural Arts Festival. From that blessing, we were able to contribute art to the City of Manor, books to the Manor Library, and donate school supplies and books to Austin area schools and universities.

My sincerest gratitude to all of you who attended my second book release! It turns out that I retained my title as the best selling author that the store had ever had for book signings due to the volume of attendees and sales.

Allow me to introduce you to Piper Bates and her best friend Shay Devereaux. You’re going to fall in love with these two ladies.  They are the stars of Lies, Art, and Chocolate:  Texas Style by author Kimberly Burgess-Taylor.
